Tallow produces an exceptionally hard and durable bar that resists turning to mush. As long as you use a well-draining soap dish to let it dry between uses, one 4 oz bar typically lasts about a month.
What is the best way to store my soap?
To maximize the life of your bar, always use a well-draining soap dish that allows for plenty of airflow. Letting the soap dry completely between each use keeps the bar firm and ensures you get every last bit of creamy lather.

I have been using these soaps as face wash for several months now. I work at a dermatologist office and the other day, one of our reps gave us all gentle facial cleansers. Against my better judgement, I decided to use the gentle cleanser to see how it felt. I used it for a week and had the worst acne of my life! I switched back to the peppermint and tea tree tallow soap I had and my face cleared up within 3 days! I’ve always had mild acne over the years, but now my acne is very few and far between. I love that it’s all natural ingredients I can feel good about putting on my skin. They smell great and they cleanse my skin very well. I’m very happy with it :)

Opening the shipping box, there was a strong perfume, mostly in the box/packing material (?), and not so much inside each individual box. 4 stars b/c my skin feels really good (actually 5 stars for that), minus 1 for not quite 'unscented.' (I admit, it's a wonderful perfume and I like the scent!)

I'm a guy for reference and I usually just buy whatever body wash is on sale. I have been struggling with skin feeling dry, itchy and irritated. I came across tallow soap and decided to give it a try. The soap leaves my skin feeling smooth, fresh, clean and hydrated.
I originally ordered two bars from Grass Fed Soaps. Coffee and Vanilla and Cedarwood and Pine. Not a fan of the Coffee and Vanilla scent but the Cedarwood and Vanilla is great, not too overpowering and light enough that I don't carry the scent with me all day.
I came back to order a few more bars and try the face soap.
