Application Tips:
- Appearance: The sunscreen initially appears very white upon application, but with generous rubbing, the whiteness fades away.

Used this for a beach day and I’m really impressed. I didn’t burn at all! I really like the coverage and texture of this sunscreen. It’s not greasy and it’s definitely waterproof. It’s my new go-to!
I bought this sunscreen to use on my face as an alternative to other sunscreens with too many toxic ingredients. I really like that they use NON Nano Zinc Oxide as the sun blocker ingredient. Nano (which this product claims not to be) would mean that the substance (Zinc Oxide) can easily pass through barriers such as your skin and brain/blood barrier. There’s some new research that potentially points towards Zinc Oxide as being something that can accumulate in the brain as it can pass through the blood/brain barrier in Nano form. Hence why I’m glad this is a NON Nano product.
I’ve been using it a few weeks and like the moisturizing this sunscreen gives my skin. It doesn’t feel oily (I have slightly oily skin) and rubs into my skin fairly easily. I’m a Hispanic Male and while at first this does give a slightly white color to my skin at first, after rubbing it in as the tallow warms up on my skin it goes away.
Lastly, the packaging was very nice as well as the metal tin the Tallow Sunscreen comes in. I’d recommend trying a 4 oz tin and see how you like it. I liked it so much that I just ordered almost $100 more in products from this company.

Smells great and feels good but it’s very white, if you’re fine with that it’s a perfectly fine sunscreen
My face remains 'white' for quite a while. It doesn't penetrate the skin very quickly. I have to try to remember to put it on way before I go out and that is not always possible.

Our mineral sunscreen does require a little extra effort to rub in, but it's worth it to avoid those nasty chemicals in traditional sunscreens.
